They drive off into the sunshine for their adventure ... Meanwhile, the ladies show up to help ... Kariny to watch Jacob and Jenny, Kate, LaDonna, and Dawn to help with food preparations. I fly off to the store to get everything and we work like busy bees until about 2:30 p.m. ...
I get a call about 2:40 p.m. from Chris saying David took off without them. I said, "You're kidding, right?" He said, "NOPE" ...
So a minute later, David calls from Extreme Power Sports (left his phone at home). He had to take a potty break and used the phone while he was there. He called to say he'd be there by 3:00 p.m.
We were a bit disappointed because we were hoping David would ride in with his guys, but what loyalty he had to take off from the guys to be sure the wifey could have some time to herself!!
Sooooo ... he comes riding down the street and here we are with posterboards and balloons. His first response is, "What?!!? This isn't my birthday!" ... He was floored :)) I didn't get all the picutures of this, but more are on Facebook for further looking. He did turn around and headed back down the street so he could ride in with the guys, with balloons attached to the bike :))) It was fun to see!
